Who are we?With a background in simplifying small business processes Bizezi has supported over 2,000 attendees across the motu providing small business courses since 2017. And, due to amazing collaborators all of our attendees came for FREE.

Our GoalWe are all about supporting small businesses to get off the ground with little or no money. It is a strong mix of building confidence alongside capability while bringing passion to play with practicality.

Lightbulb moments
Discovering a training pathway for small business owners way back in 2016 inspired founder Tony Henderson-Newport to head to the UK to negotiate the use of the programme in Aotearoa New Zealand. Customising the programme into the New Zealand context and the business ecosystem happened over many iterations. Originally PopUp Business School, it rebranded to Rebel Business School and then Bizezi Training. Now it is simply Bizezi.
Bizezi founder Tony Henderson-Newport was sitting in Whanganui at a cafe lamenting the way lending institutions validly needed a business plan for funding requests while the business owner could be more resilient and sustainable by understanding their business model. That led to a five year journey to provide a web-based app that could educate, collect information, enable business validation and collate data to create a business plan.
